Traffic Lights Almost Done | Video

Jenny Castro | 8/28/2012

You may have noticed that nearly all the traffic lights are working again in Minot. The damaged traffic lights have been repaired over the summer, and this week crews are working on the last non-functioning signal in the valley.

Repairs started Tuesday morning on the intersection signal at 13th street southeast and Burdick Expressway, right next to the zoo. The bulk of the work from the crews of Main Electric was completed ahead of schedule and before the traffic picked up for school.

Since these lights are on along federal-aid roads, the North Dakota Department of Transportation and the city have been responsible for the repairs.
