Labor Day Weekend Riverboat Cruise | Video

Alyssa Marino | 9/2/2012

The Lewis and Clark riverboat put on a special Labor Day weekend cruise tour. Cruises left at 1:00 p.m. each day and today they took off for a sunset cruise.

The riverboat docks at the Port of Bismarck on River Road.

Last year, they were unable to hold a special event like this because of the flood, but this year it`s much different. Boat workers are very excited and say it`s rewarding to see this large of a turnout.

"We love it. We`ve been really busy this year. This weekend, I`ve got four trips every day. So people love it. They come from all over the country," said captain Jeff Bathinay.

Captain Jeff says the cruises were at capacity all weekend, and he transported over 300 people.

Lewis and Clark is open throughout the rest of September and reservations can be made at www.lewisandclarkriverboat.com
