Alexander Gorney | 9/3/2012

A large pink fire truck was easy to spot today as it traveled across North Dakota. The North Dakota Guardians of the Ribbon Chapter, along with help from police and firefighters stopped at Dakota Community Bank in Bismarck.

The pink fire trucked is named "Miss Vivian" to honor cancer survivors. But Miss Vivian wasn`t the only truck in town. Several more pink trucks from the National Pinkheals tour were also in the Capital City.

"The emotions that brings when you have that truck pull up, the tears and the joy. It just, that`s what makes it. And that`s what we want to do," said North Dakota Guardians of the Ribbon President Tracy Driscoll.

Later in the day, they surprised a cancer survivor at Fiesta Villa. With permission from Bismarck Police, they blocked off fifth street and drove in a variety of pink trucks from chapters all over the state.
