USDA Declares Drought Disaster | Video

All the recent warm weather and dry conditions have left damaged crops all over the state. And now, The U.S Department of Agriculture has declared an agricultural disaster in North Dakota.

This means farmers and ranchers in 16 North Dakota counties are eligible for supplemental disaster assistance and other federal programs.

The list of the eligable primary counties include: Barnes, Cass, Grand Forks, Griggs, Nelson, Steele, and Trail.

This disaster declaration also makes federal assitance to farmers and ranchers in 9 contiguous counties including: Benson, Eddy, Foster, La Moure, Ramsey, Ransom, Richland, Stutsman and Walsh.
