Fargo Man Sentenced to 11 Years for Child Pornography

A Fargo man was sentenced today to serve 11 years in prison on child pornography charges. Blaine Denis Campbell, 36, pleaded guilty to charges of distribution of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors and possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors in May.

Campbell pleaded guilty to trafficking images and videos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The forensic examination of
Campbell`s electronic media revealed that he played a role in the production of some of the sexually explicit material found on his computer and other media.

Campbell will serve 11 years in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release. He will also have to pay a $200 special assessment to
the Crime Victim`s Fund.
