Bismarck Worker Killed at Job Site Yesterday

A worker was killed in Bismarck yesterday at a job site along the Missouri River. Bismarck police say a 36-year-old man from Minnesota was working to install pipes on the 500 block of River Road. Around 1:15 in the afternoon the worker was assisting a crew using a backhoe to connect the pipes in a trench.

Police say the bucket flipped off the pipe and swung, hitting the man in the chest.

Police have not yet released the man`s name. We`ll have more information as it becomes available.
