Rolette County Sobriety Checkpoint Results

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the results from a sobriety checkpoint that took place over the weekend in Rolette County. The checkpoint was conducted Saturday, September 8, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. south of Dunseith on ND Highway 3.

During the two hour period, 56 vehicles passed through the checkpoint. Three drivers has been consuming alcohol and were evaluated for possible impairment. No arrests were made for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Immediately following the checkpoint, NDHP Troopers and Rolette County Deputies patrolled the county, focusing on apprehending impaired drivers. Two drivers were arrested.
