NDSU Players Allowed to Play Entire Season | Video

| 9/10/2012

NDSU football players involved in a recent petition fraud case will be allowed to play the entire season. Athletic Director Gene Taylor says the athletes charged with faking petition signatures to get measures on the November ballot will not be suspended from the team, no matter what happens in court.

School officials said last week that any discipline would wait until after the criminal case was resolved. After the Bison`s weekend win, Gene Taylor said there will be no suspensions.

The players are charged with faking signatures on petitions to put two citizen initiatives on the ballot. With the suspect petitions disqualified, neither initiative had enough signatures to get on the ballot.
