Sorum Announces Candidacy for Governor

A Bismarck businessman announced today that he will be running as an independent candidate for North Dakota Governor. Paul Sorum made his announcement as a candidate for governor today.

Sorum ran for the Republican nomination for governor at the state convention in March.

"The good news is that voters will now have a candidate on the ballot who will go to work for them rather than go to work for government," he stated. "People in North Dakota know the answers to our state`s biggest issues - issues that have gone un-resolved for many years. I will listen and implement solutions that benefit all people in this state."

Michael Coashman of Larimore will be his running mate.
