The United States ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, was killed along with three American diplomats in an overnight attack. Riots started first in Cairo and then in Benghazi, Libya`s number two city.

These stories are linked to more Islamic extremists and it`s even stirring up controversy to the Muslim communities in North Dakota.

Now Senator Hoeven and Senator Conrad issued statements following the attack on the American embassy.

We wanted to get local reaction from the Muslim community.

"It`s always insulting, it`s always anger, instigating, so I am angry and sad. With these things going on in the world but that`s something that is there to stay," says Pathologist and Member of Minot Mosque, Badi Alakech.

Alskech believes these protests and attacks were sparked due to a YouTube video of a Anti-Islamic segment.
