Dickinson Teen Dies in Crash

A Dickinson teen is dead following a vehicle crash early this morning. The 17-year old juvenile was travelling south in a 1999 Pontiac on 3rd Ave W in Dickinson shortly after 6:00 when the teen travelled through a red light at the intersection of 15th St.

The 17 year old was struck by a westbound Hummer driven by Catherine Riddick, 52, of Dickinson. Then the Pontiac was pushed into a pickup driven by John Barrett, 35, of Westminster, CO.

Riddick was not injured, Barrett was taken to a hospital for medical evaluation and the 17 year old was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 17 year old`s name has not been released yet. The NDHP is investigating the crash.
