Bismarck Airport Conducting Emergency Exercise

| 9/14/2012

Next week, the Bismarck Airport will be conducting a full scale emergency airfield exercise. The exercise, which will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, is a test of the airport`s emergency plan as well as the plans of supporting agencies should an aircraft accident occur at the airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration requires that the airport conduct a full scale emergency exercise every three years as part of the comprehensive Airport Emergency Plan.

The exercise will involve fire trucks, ambulances, police cars and other official vehicles. The airport wants to let the public know that it is only an exercise and they shouldn`t be alarmed.
