Minot Police Investigating Weekend Hit and Run and Assault

Minot police are investigating a hit and run incident that took place early Sunday morning. Shortly after 1:00 a.m., police were called to the parking lot of the Chicago Club bar because of a fight. When they arrived, they found two men with severe head lacerations on the ground.

According to police, one of the injured males had attempted to stop a vehicle, that had struck a person, from leaving the parking lot. A witness told police that the people inside the vehicle jumped out, assaulted both men and fled.

Both men were taken to the hospital.
