Air Force Celebrates 65 Years | Video

The United States Air Force is celebrating its 65th anniversary. Since 1957, Minot has been home to the Air Force Base.

For 28 years, 5th Operational Groups Superintendent Robert Rohn has been a part of the Air Force tradition with his second deployment in Minot.

"The Air Force, it`s becoming more diverse with people from every background there is, but it`s like a family and that`s one of the things I enjoy about the Air Force and tradition,” he said.

While the city of Minot will continue to grow, Rohn says the Air Force mission will never change and will continue to be a part of Minot`s family for years to come.
