Schaffhausen`s Attorney Asking to Stop Mental Health Visits

| 9/20/2012

The attorney for a Minot man accused of killing his three daughters is asking a court to stop a mental health professional from visiting his client. Aaron Schaffhausen is accused of killing his daughters in July.

He says the mental health worker is an "Agent of the State" and the repeated visits violate Schaffhausen`s constitutional rights. The attorney says the prosecutor and jail staff are working together to document his behavior and interaction and that can be used against him.

The Minot carpenter is charged with killing Amara, 11, Sophia, 8 and Cecilia Schaffhausen, 5.
