Mandan School Bond Forum | Video

Kristin Clouston | 9/20/2012

Mandan residents who have any questions about the special school bond election next week have a chance to get them answered tonight. School board members and administrators are holding a forum at the Mandan Middle School.

If the $12.5 million bond passes on Tuesday, the district will build a new elementary school just north of 37th Ave Northwest and Lewis Road that could be ready to open by next fall.

"We have owned the land up in northwest Mandan for almost 30 years. That is where our over enrollment population is right now and so we needed to address that need immediately because that`s been our most long standing need," said school board president Kirsten Baesler.

The meeting starts at 7:00 in the middle school cafetorium.
