Beerfest Draws Hundreds to Civic Center | Video

Hundreds of people turned out at the Bismarck Civic Center for the third annual Beerfest on Friday. Guests had the chance to sample 30 beers and food items.

"It`s a great time to celebrate, celebrate beer. It`s the beginning of fall so you know and football and everything else that happens in the fall so it`s a good time to try some new beers," said Katie Aitchison, sales and marketing manager at the Bismarck Civic Center.

"We came last year and it was a good time and they have a lot of different options, lots of different vendors so it`s a good time- we`ve brought more of a group this year," said Brenda Seehafer, who attended the event.

Proceeds raised at Beerfest benefit the Missouri Valley Family YMCA.
