250-300 Acre Fire Near Sawyer | Video

Fire crews were called out tonight to tackle a large grass fire near Sawyer. The fire started around 3:30 Monday afternoon in a field, but with dry and windy conditions, the fire quickly spread to about 250 to 300 acres.

There were several mobile homes in the area, but no damage or injuries were reported. Surrey fire crews are still on the scene working to put out the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
