Bismarck Mobile Home Fire | Video

A fire in a mobile home Tuesday morning caused extensive damage, but fortunately, no injuries. The fire was discovered a little before 10:00 in south Bismarck. Firefighters say the first reports were of a fire on a deck but the flames quickly spread to the mobile home itself.

"Initial report was a deck fire. When we showed up the deck was fully involved. The reports were everyone was out and we checked that and the guys made a quick knock down probably had it knocked down in five to ten minutes," said Captain Matt Wilke with the Bismarck Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no injuries. However, there is extensive damage to the mobile home itself and the structure is expected to be a total loss.
