Bismarck Police Warn of Copper Thefts

| 9/25/2012

The Bismarck Police Department is asking businesses, farmers, construction firms and anyone else who may have a supply of copper to keep it secure from theft. Police are reporting a rise in the number of thefts of anything that may contain copper, not just wire.

They ask businesses to keep an inventory on their copper supply and construction companies to lock up their tools and extension cords.

If you have experienced a theft of copper, please report it to the authorities.
