Beet Truck Shortage

The sugar beet harvest is well underway, and some farmers say they still need help. Many of them are having a hard time filling truck driver positions. They say this year is more difficult because of the oil patch and drivers are heading west for full-time work.

Sugar beet harvest only lasts about two weeks.
