Fatal Crash in McKenzie County

A man was killed when two semis collided this early this morning in McKenzie County. The crash occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 85 and Highway 68. Jason Stowe of Peyton Colorado was traveling northbound on Highway 68, when he failed to yield the right of way to Kim Sparrow, who was traveling westbound on 85. Sparrow and Stowe were both transported to Mercy Hospital, where Stowe was pronounced dead.

Sparrow was injured in the accident, and both semis were totaled.
