Dakota Prairie Grasslands Fire Restrictions Lifted
| 10/11/2012
According to the U.S. Forest Service, fire restrictions have been lifted on the Dakota Prairie Grasslands. The department says that although restrictions have been lifted on the Little Missouri, Grand River and Cedar River National Grasslands, people should still use caution with fire and completely extinguish campfires when done.
The Bennett trail, Cottonwood trail, and the portion of the MaahDaah Hey trail from the junction of Forest road #823 south to County Road #50 have also been opened.
