Student Day of Caring

| 10/11/2012

High school students all over the state are volunteering their time today for the Student Day of Caring. The event is sponsored by the North Dakota Association of Student Councils and United Ways throughout the state. In the Bismarck area, students organized a leadership seminar to share results of Missouri Slope Areawide United Way`s Needs Assessment.

The United Way expects 50 students to participate and the seminar will include feature speaker Greg Tehven. Students will volunteer at the Dakota Zoo, the Baptist Home and Welcome House, a local homeless shelter for families.
