All Breeds Cattle Tour | Video

Rene Thibault | 10/12/2012

North Dakota Cattle Ranchers met in Rugby today for the 26th annual North Dakota Stockmen`s All Breeds Cattle Tour. The group would be stopping at more than 15 ranches across North-Central North Dakota, including the Frey Angus Ranch in Granville.

The tour is meant to showcase cattle breeds and operations at different ranches across the state. But it`s also about the friendly experience, “The tour is probably specifically for people to come out and showcase their cattle to the people that attend, but I think it`s more than that because you get to meet the people you get to see the operations you get the feel of how agriculture is a family opportunity, it`s a family business,” said Terry Robinson, a Livestock Specialist for Farm and Ranch Guide.

Lynn Frey, one of three brothers that own and operate the Frey Angus Ranch added, “Not all probably have the same breed of cattle as you do, but we`re all in the cattle business and we all enjoy visiting with each other and showing our cattle regardless of what breed we have.”

The first stop on tomorrow`s tour will be the McCumber Angus Ranch in Rolette, ND.
