Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day | Video

Sarahbeth Ackerman | 10/15/2012

Local families came together this evening to release balloons in memory of their children that have passed away. Since today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, Minot resident Natasha Hoff decided she wanted to create an event that could bring awareness to the community.

Hoff hopes that this event will be helpful to families grieving a loss.

"It`s therapeutic for me to share my daughter`s story and my story and let people know that it happens and you can get through it and doing an event like this, it helps me but yeah, I know I`m helping other people."

Earlier tonight families came together to release the balloons in memory of their loved ones on the 8th Street Memorial Bridge just south of Minot State University.
