Conrad Releases Statement on His Brother`s Death

Senator Kent Conrad and his family have released a statement regarding the death of his brother Roan in New York.

"It is with sadness that my brother Dean and his wife Pat, my wife Lucy and I, and our entire family confirm the passing of my older brother, Roan, on October 13. Roan fought a courageous battle with cancer. We are relieved that his pain has ended. He was a brilliant, brave and loving brother and family member. He will be missed," Conrad said.

Roan passed away on October 13. He was 72.

Memorial services will be held October 20 in New York City and at a later date in Bismarck.
