Car Hits Retirement Home | Video

| 10/17/2012

It was a close call last night as an SUV crashed into a retirement home. Bismarck police say the vehicle struck a building at Touchmark on west Century Avenue around 9:00.

The SUV was being driven by a 14-year-old boy who lost control of the car while speeding around a curve in the rain. The Jeep became airborne and went into an unoccupied basement.

He was taken to the hospital.

Two other boys in the car were not injured. No one inside the building was hurt.

The teen was cited for speeding and criminal reckless endangerment.
