Disturbance Call Leads to Drug Arrest

An early morning disturbance call in Minot ended up turning into a drug arrest. Police were called to the LaQuinta Inn in SW Minot shortly before 3:00 this morning. When they arrived, police found Robin Winfield Stirman, 52, from Montgomery, TX in the room.

Police say that Stirman appeared to be under the influence of a stimulant drug. They then found a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia associated with the use of methamphetamine.

Stirman was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia other than marijuana. Both charges are Class C Felonies. He is being held at the Ward County Jail.
