Town of Bucyrus Evacuated | Video

Residents are being evacuated in Bucyrus tonight after a fire broke out around 4:00 this afternoon. Bucyrus is a small town nine miles west of Hettinger in southwestern North Dakota.

Several fire departments are on scene trying to control the blaze which affected land and some structural buildings. The Hettinger Fire Department is reporting that parts of the fire are under control, while other parts are still out of control.

They are allowing access on Highway 12 at this time.
