Sanford Announces Endowment Campaign | Video

Sanford Health made a big announcement this morning. The Sanford Health foundation will give Sanford Bismarck a $10 million gift. Along with the money, the Bismarck hospital is launching the "Builders of Excellence Endowment Campaign". Promising to permanently match funds established by donors. So far they`ve received $1.1 million in donations.

Tom Petrik, Vice President of Development at Sanford Health Bismarck says this is a very exciting program for central and western North Dakota.

"It`s a very, very strong start and it`s a very, very positive start that will continue to help us move forward."

Sanford Health Bismarck plans to use $1.5 million out of the gift to enhance existing programs throughout the region. The other $8.5 million will be used for the endowment campaign.
