Fighting Sioux Signs Removed From Arena | Video

Sports fans might be having a tough time with some work going on at UND. Workers are removing Fighting Sioux imagery outside the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks.

It`s required under a 2007 agreement that settled a lawsuit between North Dakota and the NCAA.

Removing the sign will take most of the week and it will be replaced with a sign reading "Home of North Dakota Hockey."

The sign is one of six "Home of the Fighting Sioux" signs that must be removed.
