North Dakota Ranks 11th in Deer/Vehicle Crashes

North Dakota has been ranked in the top 15 states to be involved in a deer/vehicle crash. The list, compiled by State Farm and using data from the Federal Highway Administration, puts North Dakota in 11th place, with the odds of hitting a deer with your vehicle at 1 in 105.3. North Dakota was ranked in the same position last year.

West Virginia topped the list with odds of 1 in 40. The state where you are least likely to hit a deer with your car is Hawaii, where the odds are 1 in 6,801.
