If you receive a phone call from your child`s school tonight, don`t worry, no one is in trouble. Bismarck Public Schools will be testing a new parent notification system.

"So parents who are in our system should receive contact through however they`re signed up whether it`s land line phones, cell phones, email or text and again it will come out as a non-emergency message but we want to get, we want to make certain all our contact information is in there as we move into winter storm weather," said Superintendent Tamara Uselman.

If you`re expecting a notification and don`t receive one, email your school secretary. The emails can be found on each school`s website.
