Bismarck Man Pleads Guilty to Child Abuse Charge

A Bismarck man has pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to a charge of child abuse in Indian country. Thomas Blackhawk, 34, is charged with hitting and kicking a child at Prairie Knights Casino in February.

Blackhawk faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison and a $5,000 fine. He will be sentenced in February, 2013.
