Women shopping in downtown Bismarck will notice one new display near 4th street and Broadway. That`s the new home of Kittson and 3rd.

"This was just the clear choice for our next location of Kittson and it`s just been so great being down here already," said store manager Ky Jones.

The store, which is based out of Grand Forks, opened its second location in the Capital City last week. Jones says they had about one month to remake the boutique`s interior so they could open before the holidays.

"It took a lot of work. We did a lot of the painting and the flooring and everything ourselves. As well as some of the construction of the dressing rooms."

In addition to offering a wide range of eclectic women`s clothing and accessories in the store, Jones says they`re utilizing Facebook and other social media to enhance their marketing efforts.

"If you`re a Facebook fan, if you mention us, you`ll get discounts off your purchase, so that`s a really big thing."

Shoppers will notice a diverse collection of clothing, handbags and jewelry, as well as handmade mittens and scarves of nearly every color.

"Our goal is definitely to have that classy and elegant environment for our customers without those expensive price tags," Jones said.

A unique collection that Jones says will lure women through the doors as they do a bit of downtown window shopping.

The store is open Wednesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 to 5:00 p.m.
