The individual whose name appears on this notification has been convicted of a crime against a child or an attempted crime against a child, or has pleaded guilty to a sexual offense. In accordance with North Dakota State Law this individual must register as a sexual offender or an offender against children.

The offender is not wanted by the police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community.

Information Narrative: Mr. Vargas is a lifetime high risk offender due to convictions of Corruption/Solicitation of a Minor, 3 counts on May 17, 2010 in Williams County District Court. Mr. Vargas was questioned regarding his relationship with a 15 year old female. He confessed to having had consensual sex with the female. It was later discovered that he had sexual relations with two other underage females prior to the original investigation. He was recently released from incarceration.
