Oil Alum Returns to MSU | Video

A Minot State University alum stopped by campus to speak with students and the community about his experience as chief operating officer at Ward Williston Oil company. Nathan Conway credits MSU University for his success, and said he didn’t think he would eventually work in oil.

Conway believes the small class size and friendly staff of professors helped him with his career. He is constantly asked where he received his education. Conway said the new financial program at MSU will be extremely helpful for his company because the financial analysts that they hire will already be educated in oil and business.

“We`re not going to have to train them for a year or two years to bring them up to speed,” he said.
