Twenty-two University of Mary students and their instructor are okay after experiencing a strong earthquake in Guatemala today. The third year physical therapy students were working in a wheel chair factory when the 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit. They are volunteering with the God`s Child Project providing therapy at orphanages, building homes and fitting people for wheelchairs. Guatemalan officials say at least 29 people have died and about 125,000 people have lost power.

The group has been in Antigua since last Monday and is scheduled to return on Friday.
