Train Hits Pedestrian in Fargo

A man is in the hospital after being hit by a train in Fargo this morning. Fargo police say a BNSF train crew noticed the 30 year old man on the tracks, sounded horns and tried to stop. The man did not leave the tracks and was struck by the train.

It happened just before 7:00 this morning in the 4200 block of Main Avenue. The victim was taken to a local hospital. Police say the man would be transported to a Twin Cities hospital later today.
