Fatal Crash in Williams County

A woman from Zahl, ND is dead after her car hit a semi on Highway 85 last night. The crash occurred at 10:00 at the intersection of Highway 85 and Williams County Road 10.

Clarice Hanson, 72, was travelling north on Highway 85 when she hit a semi that was crossing the road. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck, Michael Moore, 42, from Kannapolis, NC, was not injured.

The crash is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
