"I think it will be great to have a bigger variety. Especially different choices than just the traditional restaurants or the pizza places to go to. So I think it will be great," said ranch hand Mel Moe.
Buffalo Wild Wings under construction, but it took owners two years to decide if they should come. One of their biggest concerns was finding employees.
"The staffing goals that we`re going to set in Williston are not going to be what they`re going to set in California, Florida, and the heart if Minneapolis," said Minot Buffalo Wild Wings owner Dani Reichenberger.
Reichenberger says the restaurant will have between 100-130 employees.
"We are comfortable with the par that we`ve adjusted to we will be able to fulfill that goal."
City leaders hope more restaurants in town will help entice more people to make the move.
"It`s the case where the guy is living in a man camp, and his wife comes up for the weekend to see if they ever want to move here. If she`s got a nice place to eat that`s a positive move for her and she feels good about that," said Williston mayor Ward Koeser.
And the restaurant business doesn`t seem to be slowing down, with Cowboy Jacks and several other restaurants showing interest too.
"It looks like by this time next year we should have quite a few eating options," Koeser added.
And that`s good news for one resident.
"We need growth to keep on progressing. It`s had it downfalls, but all in all you got to admit it`s a pretty nice climate around Williston now," added Moe.
