Surrey Man Arrested for Luring a Minor

A Surrey man is in custody after he was arrested Thursday evening on a charge of luring a minor by means of computer or other device. Ward County Sheriff`s Deputies arrested Timothy James Anderson, 32, in east Minot.

A Internet Crimes Against Children officer was online posing as a 14 year old girl when he made contact with an individual. They set up a meeting for a location in east Minot. When Anderson showed up, he was arrested.

Anderson is currently being held without bond until his initial court appearance.
