Santa Arrives at Gateway Mall | Video

We haven`t even had our turkey yet, but many people already have Christmas on their minds. On Saturday morning, the man in red arrived in Bismarck with a few elves at Gateway Mall.

Kids and families were in line to meet Santa, sit on his lap and take a photo. Santa also brought two live reindeer to the mall.

Parents say their kids are getting eager to unwrap gifts under the tree, and a few of them say they`re being extra good.

"Especially since we got that first snow. It`s just really starting to feel like Christmas. You want to decorate. You want to get your tree. The kids want to go sledding. It really does feel like Christmas is almost here," JoAnn Guerard said. Geurard brought her grandkids to the mall.

"But I`m sure being the holidays, they`ll give us their best behavior the last couple months until Santa comes to see them," Mike McClure said.

Photos with Santa will be offered Thursday through Sunday at Gateway Mall every week leading up to Christmas.
