Baptist Home Fundraiser | Video

Jessica Roose | 12/7/2012

Raising money for the Baptist home in Bismarck is as easy as pie. The home needs $10,000 for a new bladder scanner and used the annual soup luncheon and bake sale to help the cause. Kevin Lawrence and Henry Blakes stopped by to judge the pies, and they weren`t taking bribes.

Workers say they hope to have raised at least two thousand dollars today.

"The bake sale started at 9:00 and I think we had a line at the door thanks to everybody getting it out in Facebook and all these kinds of things and these gals just came in and BOOM, it was gone," said employee Charlotte Heim.

Henry and Kevin agreed that the apple pie was the best of them all.
