One fun holiday activity for the family is to check out all of the Christmas light displays around town. However, a lot of time, and gas, can be wasted trying to find them.

Now you can go online and find out where the good displays are, or even submit your own. The website Sights, Lights and More has a map that shows Christmas displays in the area. There is also a mobile version of the website, so you can access it from your smartphone.

Webmaster Steve Mott says it started as something for his kids.

"Moved up here in February 2008, was new to the Bismarck area. Was looking for, during the holiday season, somewhere to find out where to go to find out where all the Christmas lights were to take my young kids to around town."

Mott says that he plans to update the website throughout the year and include events like fireworks displays. More information can be found at www.sightslightsandmore.com.
