"By just having the guy here working, that doesn`t solve our problems as a community. We simply have got to get the teenager here to work in a restaurant, we`ve got to get the spouse here to work at the hospital, we`ve got to get the family here,” said Mayor Ward Koeser.
The city received just over $21 million in energy impact funds during the last biennium. This time around, they`ll be hoping for closer to $40 million from the state legislature.
