There was a party in court today. The Bismarck-Mandan Drug/DUI court celebrated its twelfth anniversary this morning. The goal of the court is to help people lead a drug and alcohol free lifestyle. Each person involved makes an appearance each week to discuss their progress.

Burleigh County Deputy Sheriff Shar Schuh was awarded the drug court’s distinguished service award for helping out the participants while they`re on probation.

There have been 251 people involved in the program, with 132 successfully completing it.
