2012 Record Year for Births at St. Alexius

St. Alexius says that 2012 was a record-setting year for births. In 2012, they welcomed 1,541 babies, which was 107 more than the year before.

“It’s just amazing! It seems like every year we’re reaching another milestone at The Birth Place,” says Stephanie Goroski, director of St. Alexius Women’s and Children’s Services. “Not only did we reach a new annual record number of babies, we reached a new record for the number of babies born in a single month.”

In May of 2012, a record number of 147 babies were born.
