Watford City Woman Dies in Crash

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a three vehicle crash last night near Watford City claimed the life of a Watford City woman. At about 7:50 last night, Lavada Hill, 46, was traveling behind a semi heading eastbound on Highway 23. Another semi traveling in the opposite direction, driven by Paul Mirando of Killdeer, crossed the center line and hit the semi Hill was following. After the initial crash, the semi struck Hill`s vehicle.

Hill died at the scene. Charges are pending after the completion of the investigation.
